How does iTero 3D scanner work?
In the first step of the treatment process, we'll use an iTero impression scanner to capture 3D impressions of your bite and adjust your Invisalign treatment in real-time. We can also store data digitally and show you your expected results — no guesswork required.
After taking a complete 3D scan of your mouth with our intraoral scanner, we project the image on the iTero screen to show you how your smile currently looks from all angles.
Then, we'll use iTero's Smile Simulator to provide a 3D rendering of what your smile may look like by the end of your treatment. Your scans will also be used to create your custom clear aligners.
